This is a beautiful story, filled with brilliant characters and a great plot. I'm throughly enjoying it, thank you so much for writing this. One of the best Troy inspired stories I've ever read!

Achilles' Shield

Absolutely amazing, very descriptive and I like how she's created some very well rounded original characters to acompany Leora.

The Walls

Achilles' Shield breathes life into an ancient mythological tale, reinventing Homer’s Iliad with a fresh perspective.  Melania Radutoiu’s style is unique, her prose lively, and her description vibrant.  Readers will taste the sand on their tongues and stretch their necks to gaze up the impressive walls of Troy; they will cry alongside the characters and rejoice in their triumphs.  Radutoiu’s ability to capture the scope of human emotion animates each character, and their complex, multifaceted personalities shine through the dialogue, so that Radutoiu’s original heroine Aalexia can stand beside the noble Trojan Prince Hector and can temper the infamous warrior Achilles.  An epic tale of love, loss, and healing, Achilles' Shield is a classic.

Melania has done a really good job with this. I love Greek Mythology and  the Trojan War and this is one of the better stories about it that've read.

The Walls is such a beautifully written book. I laughed, I cried, I repeatedly whispered profanities at the characters. It'll make you feel things you don't want to feel. It reads like something Quentin Tarantino would write! I definitely recommend this book. It's worth your time.

Achilles' Shield

A very intriguing story, I couldn't wait until Damor and Leora finally met! Makes me want to finish one chapter to start the next one just to find out what's going to happen.

The Walls

The Story starts like a movie, dynamic and captivating, respecting the rule: show, don't tell. The descriptions are very vivid and real. The storyline needs to be better organized but overall the writing style, the craft in itself is extremely good and fascinating.

The Walls

I usually don't cry when reading stories. But I cried when Achilles helped Alexia spread Hector's ashes. Melania is a very good writer and has the ability to make emotions real.

The Walls

Her half brother had been killed and her half sister had gone mad with sorrow and loneliness. Now the Ammerman dynasty was drifting dangerously towards a historical waterfall standing ready to plummet from fierce heights into the depths of oblivion and there was no one to keep it afloat. Except for her. Leora Stekara, the bastard child of the Mad King. But when seeking her own fate and the truth about her origins, she would have to look carefully among the four ancient tribes scattered across the Southern Realm and face the one man that could lead to her demise. Damor Kane, the chieftain of the Dhanwars. She now stood to gain his trust or bring ruin to her people. A battle to win them all or send their age into darkness.

Achilles' Shield

On a small island resting on the golden shores of the Aegean Sea there stood Troy in all its might, with unbreakable walls and undefeated courage, the powerful country of King Priam. Following Paris’ love affair with Helen, war ravaged the land, scattering the royals and enslaving the people to the Greek armies in the shadow of the merciless Black Myrmidons flag. Alexia watched her city burn and wanted to burn with it, but her husband’s murderer refused to honor her that death. Instead, she found herself captured, struggling in a battle not of swords but of wits and feelings. Achilles was the strangest man she had ever met, a warrior yearning for companionship and love, yet a killer by birth.

By the end of all things, one must have the strength to compromise and love beyond reason and guilt, while the other must trust his mortal instinct and settle for a life that in a few short years would grant him what he sought for most: eternity.

New Beginnings

The sequel to Achille's shield, New Beginnings follows the Black Myrmidon miles beneath the Earth crust where he went in search of  Alexia, beyond the realm of the living and into the belly of the beast to fight for their love. In the darkness of Hades' caves, intoxicated by the smell of death, the shadows were deceiving and Achilles would soon submit to their call, sacrificing himself to see an old enemy come to life. And so in the timeless space between worlds, new life would be born out of the ruins of the old to continue a story long forgotten.

Impossible Avenues (work in progress)

Seline was swamped with work but more work meant her small business was thriving. As a sworn translator herself she always helped her team with the overload; until one day when a pale skin mystery man with predator features lands at her door step wanting to contract her services. Professionally, she could not refuse; personally, she would have run and hid from his presence.

Between the walls of Acheron Daymond's secluded villa, Seline learns of the secrets laying hidden in the torn pages of an ancient book. Her infatuation with the subject combined with a wild imagination  threaten to prevent her from finishing the job she was hired for. Just when she is about to reach sanity and come to peace with her delusional findings, things take a dangerous turn for the worse, making her wish she had finished reading the book. Now the ending lays only with Acheron.

The Shack (work in progress)

Nothing but winding dark trees above her eyes and wet snowflakes dancing in the wind. A much milder wind than the one that had caused her plane to crash. Flight LHS 4160 to Boston had to make an emergency landing in a small Sweedish airport following strong winds and heavy snow. Despite the risky maneuvers, a few hours later they were back in the air only to end up here. She didn't know where here was. It could've been Hell. No one could have possibly survived the crash. 423 souls had boarded. Two had survived. Together with Jason, Manu would fight for survival, against the human loss, the wounds, the perils in the woods. Coming from similar backgrounds, having grown into very different people, their greatest challenge would be to make a life together in the wilderness until rescue parties could find them.

A trial that would forge a future or kill them both.

ABOUT ME

Mom, in her infinite wisdom, discovered my inclination toward human sciences since I had no interest in playing with the abacus as a child and I proved her instinct right in time. Creativity has always been one of my strongest assets and next to the bright colors of my clothes and the smile I wear on my face at all times, there is not much more to say.
Except perhaps for the fact that I have always been fascinated with love and life. As a child I used to write Love is everywhere, well, everywhere! And I believed it, otherwise I wouldn't have ended up writing a novella at fourteen just to save my favorite cartoon characters form being for ever separated. It was in my power to turn around the odds of their destiny and have them live happily ever after.
Not much has changed since then despite not being a true romantic at heart. More like a vigilante fighting for a chance to love and writing can make that difference. It can wave impossible dreams out of nothing, soften hearts and tear down old walls. It can also create chaos, frustration and anger. And so, one page after another, the adventure unfolds in its seemingly undeterred course.
Yet when all wars have been fought and the wounds are starting to heal, when young lovers kiss under the shade of blossoming cherry trees and old men praise their glorious past through the eyes of their children, what is really important remains. Namely the joy of having traveled to a world where the reader has found someone to resemble to, live and die together and not regret one minute of it when the book cover closes. This is why I write. To perfect and grow into a craft so intricate and vast, where not even the sky is the limit. And if I have managed, even for a moment, to keep you locked to my stories, then I am on the right path.
                                                                                                         Thank you.
